notNormal

A Poem by Destined for Boring

I do not understand for my words were planned
and they ate them.

I heard their response and declared my words
and theirs as well.

Now you are here and my sense is driven from me.
My sense, wisdom, and knowledge have become folly among you all.

There seems to be no escape from a place such as this.
It is you I do not hate.

I lived on the east coast.
I've lived on the west coast.
I do not belong in the USA.

You scream absurd letters into my ears about how you feel
and not about what you know.

The destruction is coming like any great fallen nation
who fell into pride.

I'm driven mad and I'm driven crazy.
My environmental place will mutate me to death.

Even though you bury my body
I will have no rest.

I'll wrestle and turn and deem I'm insane
because I cannot live among the foolish no more.

My God, my God why have you put me here.
Either I'm wrong or they're wrong.

I'm accepting to be the one to blame.
They despise me so much they put me to shame.

I say, hi, and they scream good bye.
I am polite and they are artless.

Forever a suicidal maniac.
Forever yours.

You are the only one who has ever made sense to me.
