Take It All In

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul,

The screen that makes you who you are,

But they also give an aesthetic touch,

Your sight towards beauty that no one can mar.

In a single second our eyes flit around,

Taking in everything around us,

And then they go again, flitting away because,

The world keeps changing as it must.

Our eyes tell us stories of the world and it's children,

Of the day in the life of strangers,

They also give strangers a look in your heart,

A glimpse of both the sadness and the laughter.

They contain the curiosity that quenches our mind,

They can express all emotions in one,

They see the green, the blue, they grey,

The looking of the eyes is never done.
