I am...

I am...

A Poem by D.
"

Different people could probably take this in more then one way..

"
The past has made me, no matter how crazy.
Scars have shown me, so much fear.
I have made it this far.
My heart is broken, given up on repair.
Not possible, you see.
Broken, is me.

Moving forward is what my future will bring.
Scared and beautiful.
My head forever held high.
Flawless is nothing strive for.
Wisdom I shall share.
I maybe be broken, you see.
Broken, is me.

Consumed by darkness
Darkness I became.
off my path I am sure,
Misguided by the unknown.
An everyday struggle I know will never end.
Strength I have learned to draw from within.
Broken, you see.
Broken, will forever be me.

Flawed, beauty.
Broken, wise.
finding my own path.
Never too quickly, for wisdom I shall not miss.
My body maybe become beaten, my scars maybe shown.
Go ahead pay attention, this is my past.
Love, lost.
Faith, tested.
Broken, I am.
Broken, I will be.
You see, my dear.
Broken, is me.

I like the way you are kind of figuring yourself out. I think you did a very good job on this one.
