His love for me

This poem is about realizing that God loves me, truly.

There is a father in heaven above,
And nothing can separate us from his love.
He created all things so wonderfully
He created you, a unique beauty.

So when you feel like you're not worth much,
Just remember Jesus, lean into his touch.
He knitted you carefully in your mother's womb,
He died to save you, three days in a tomb.

Raising again in victory and light.
Saving us all from eternal night.
He knows on your head, the number of hairs.
He keeps in a bottle, every drop of your tears.

You're precious to him, you're his sweet bride,
He's coming soon, so do not hide.
Let's be ready, have Jesus in your heart.
That's the key to being a masterpiece,
His work of art.

Without him we won't get far,
With him we're a bright, illuminated star.
So if you don't feel right, pretty or clever,
Just remember, his love for you is forever.
