Ignorance

 

They call you Bliss,

But that’s your disguise;

You cloud the judgment of young ones eyes.

 

I’ve come to distance myself from you,

Your tricks and games are in my rear view.

 

And still sometimes, I know you’re near,

When I can’t understand,

Things are unclear.

 

Ignorance is the state of not knowing,

Stupidity is the state of foolishness,

And don’t those both hold hands?

 

I do not like you, Ignorance,

I wish you’d go away.

 

I do not want you Ignorance,

You are not welcome to stay.

 

And leaving my blatant rhyming scheme,

This I’ll say instead-

 

I do not need you Ignorance,

Get out of my head.

"And don't those both hold hands?" Is the line that really struck me. My favorite line. :D
Only one teeny suggestion. I feel it would flow better if you combined "you" and "are" in "You are not welcome to stay" to make "you're".

I feel the amount of syllables used in that line kind of stunts the flow of words for me.
But I dunno. I'm crazy. Well done! XD
