Til I'm Blue in the Chest

Til I'm Blue in the Chest

A Poem by Dina
"

I think I love an Edward Cullen type figure

"
Wait

Why's this weight

so heavy on me

Your mental gymnastics

Have caused me to become more tapped in

Have me looking into dictionaries

for new ways to describe how you've turned my world upside down

I was a studious student within your institution

Learned your curriculum and graduated cum lade.

I vowed to be the crescent to your sailor moon

Baby, c'est la vie

And I still have room for you

You still have some remnants left within me

Like a spoiled tenant living rent free

I thought I loved you less already

Tried to say it with my chest

Believe me

But I still believe in love

So why on earth would I pull the plug?
