Inner Emotions

The world woke up in darkness,
Desolate skies, the sun, long gone.
There's millions of other stars, the planets said,
Surely you can pick another, move on?

Maybe I'll find light again, smiled the earth
And in time it'll replace the sunshine.
I'll find another star again,
But It'll never be as bright as mine.
