A Poem by Meaghan M

Where do you run,

When you have nowhere to go?

Where do you hide,

When everyone’s eyes are on you?

Where can you be alone,

When you’re surrounded?

When do you cry,

If you’ve always been crying?

When do you scream,

If no one is listening?

When do you give up,

If someone is always pushing?

Who do you run to,

If nobody is there?

Who do you go to for help,

If no one knows why?

Why puts who back together,

If you’ve been broken too many times?

What do you do,

When you can’t think?

What do you say,

When you can’t speak?

What do you hope for,

When all hope is gone?

Why do you give in,

If you know it’s wrong?

Why don’t you leave,

If there is no reason to stay?

Why do you run,

If you can’t remember how to walk?

How do you live,

If there is no reason to?

How do you believe,

If all faith has been destroyed?

How do you forgive,

If you can never forget?

Where? When? Who? What? Why? How?

Do you know?
