I'm back

I'm back

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

Annabelle's back on Writer's Cafe
Y'all probably figured I wouldn't stay away
I wrote some pieces in a notebook of mine
But they lacked the spontaneity and quirky ryme
I know exactly why I left this place
But now I don't care what anyone says
They're so against fourteen year olds penning profanity
But without my work I'll be driven to insanity
Sometimes I cuss and tackle topics bigger than me
But USA is the land of the free
Free speech, free religion and such
And sometimes little Annie has to cuss
If you don't like what you've been seeing
Then why on earth are you still Reading

Author's Note

Annabelle Lee
There has been so much going on in the short time I've left you guys. And I have troubles writing quirk on paper, paper is just so.. formal. I had to come back haha like some stalker ex. You've all got one!. anyway. I m not sure if spontaneity is a word but I put it in there.

Thank you
Good humor at the end, and you're a lot better at rhyming than I am.

Your absolutely welcome
Spontaneity is a perfect word. It rolls out of the mind and off the tongue or from the end of the pen in an instant. Welcome back.

ha! Missed you, too, there girlie! Thanks!
quite frankly, i don't pay any attention to age on here...except in matters of posting mature writes...if you want to speak out and express yourself that is fine by me. i have always enjoyed you stuff. this is no exception to that rule. it is a necessary and clever rant. glad to have you back at w/c....you go, girl!
