The power of women is underestimated

Yeah we cook and clean, men act like they can’t but claim that whatever we can do they can do better

But how many men can say they can have a baby?

Bare a child, I dare you

See how your body bounces back

The tribulations that bring challenge

Are nothing compared to a woman’s life

There’s a reason why God chose us to do it

Women are forced to think before they do

We make a mistake we pay with consequences

Men make a mistake; we say “he’s a guy”

Yes we choose what to do with our bodies

But we also deal with the involuntary happenings

Expectation and stereotypes hinder our abilities and opportunity

Are we really the ones who need to prove ourselves though?

We are expected to look good all the time

Be the ones sensitive to others emotions

Comfort the crying and feel for the angered and disappointed

We have a right to a day off with a compliment of how beautiful we look without the glitz

Where’s the sensitivity to our bearings and struggles?

When those things don’t happen

And there are complaints of how women are crazy

Yes we get upset and hurt by the un-appreciation

Without us though, men wouldn’t know what to do

We are the ones that bring out that other side you didn’t know existed

We humanize you

In past times it’s proven that women are the backbone, not men

And when this is realized, we will see plenty change

Love your writing!! Very well put to the point. Women have to give a lot more and instead of recognition, they often get presumptuous comments. You speak exactly from my heart. I find it very important to address such topics and to draw more attention to the image of women. Nobody should be embarrassed to be a feminist. Unfortunately, this term is often very negatively coined by other men as well as by women.

First of all let me say I Love Women. You will see the masculine and feminine principles all around the Universe. The Universe is both Masculine and Feminine and when these principles come together they create. I feel that the power of women has been kept down because of fear of just how powerful the woman is . The woman's mind has more creative power than a mans mind. Even though a man has more physical power than a woman ( in most cases, I am speaking in general here.) The right side of the brain is seen as feminine, and this is the side of the brain that creates, and gives birth to new ideas, cultures, music, movies, art, books, etc ( notice the term give birth) The mans strength is that he can take the creativity of a woman and materialize it and bring it to life using math, logic, organization, structure, and etc functions which are mostly controlled by the left brain. I say all of that to say that yes the Feminine principle is very very powerful and I wish more woman were respected and elevated to that level but the Masculine principle is also necessary in order to keep balance and order. To conclude this long diatribe may I also recommend a book to you ladies "Does Women Exist" by Dario Salas a very special and fantastic creature. I think both of you ladies may benefit from this book.

We are emotionally unstable, dramatic. We are crazy, possessive, insecure, sex objects, maids, the list goes. Yet no one would be here if it weren't for a woman.

Exactly, so I do not see how men can be so unappreciative. They treat women like s**t sometimes without even thinking about their mother being a woman who gave birth to them. Or even how a woman must feel with all the inferiority thrown in our direction about our position in society. It baffles me how this has slipped the minds of people. --__--

It's crazy, really. When we speak up, we are feminists. If we say nothing we are submissive. If we have standards we are stuck up. No standards? We are basic.
Lord help us. Being a woman on planet earth is something else.
