As my subconscious thoughts

Become conscious efforts

The aspects of my life come together

Piece by piece I see new trials

That will help me see a new light

The story of my mind

Becomes the story of my life

Traveling through tribulations

Making my way to the top

Passing over bad habits and attitudes

Trying to become the person I know I can be

Knowing that I need to grow up a little more

To achieve my dream

Taking on challenges people throw at me

Proving the ones who thought I’d fail wrong

Not letting the doubts stop me

Only thinking and keeping the positive thoughts

Keeping the ones who encourage in my life

Leaving behind the negative people

Not letting them bring me down

And as I think all of these thoughts

Consciously I’m making them happen
