You Raise Me Up My Precious Savior I come this Thanksgiving Day on bended knee in search of the words my thankfulness to convey Your love I daily feel the strength to me you give that carries me day to day through which I richly live My family of which I treasure so that brings me such joy and happiness To hear a grandchild show their love with 'Mom can Nana come home with us' My Friends... oh how special ... they are the rock I lean so heavily upon With out their love and strength Some days I'm not sure I could go on. I pray Poppa and Bill you know how very much you are missed It is because of you I am who I am and that this family has been so blessed When I sit at the Thanksgiving table with family all around I pray our precious protectors know how what they do so astounds. It seems most of man kind is never satisfied, the more they have the more they want
I wish people could just see the bigger picture, and enjoy life and all it has to offer

Good poem, thank you for you submission.

I like the personal aspect of the poem. You used inverted structure repeatedly throughout the poem, which takes away from the reading a little, but still very good.

Only problem - it is impossible to read with singing in the background.
