I Just Haven't Met Him Yet ღ KKD ღ

A Poem by Donna DeLong Matthews aka Gold Pen Ghost

I Just Haven't Met Him Yet

I retreat to my safe place
and sit upon my empty favorite bench to start
Where the sea breeze clears my mind
and the pounding surf that soothes my heart

It is here where I can always find me
and dig deep within for what in my heart lyes
Oh this is the only place
that allows no self lies.

I've walked this  road of love
thinking surely this is the one
but, what startes with two
always ends with one

But those are the chances taken
When we reach for something more
I have to believe next time
it will not be a slammed door

I know you are out there
for each soul God made a mate
I just have to be patient
it will be worth the wait

For each bad choice made
a lesson was learned
Who knows
maybe next time it will be my turn

 One thing is for sure
life has not been as good as it gets
patiently I will wait
for I just haven't met him yet

As the lyrics of this song goes

And Somehow I Know That It Will All Turn Out
And You'll Make Me Work So We Can Work To Work It Out
And I Promise You Kid I'll Give So Much More Than I Get
I Just Haven't Met You Yet

Oh sweetie, you speak the truth in these lines but the 'maybe' will become the word 'absolutely' no maybe about it, and the ending will be 'And they lived happily ever after' You know that is our dream for you. I LOVED this!!

It is so nice to see your heart speaking through your magic pen once more.

Big Hugs,
