A True Steel Magnolia ღ KKD ღ

A Poem by Donna DeLong Matthews aka Gold Pen Ghost
"

I thank all of you that held this young mother and her infant son in prayer. We can not question His answers There is a greater reason beyond our understanding.

"

Your pain and loss I can not fathom
I can only pray that I never do
I see you standing straight and tall
knowing it is His hand supporting you

As you look upon one so tiny
and one too soon gone
You stand tall and majestic
with a Mother's broken heart, yet so strong

Your arms forever empty
of a loving daughter and grandson
Your heart will hold forever
a love never gone

You treasure what you had
and push through each new day
For peace, comfort and understanding
is what I truly pray.

Your strenght I do so admire.
Your pain I can not imagine.
But your journey each day
to me is a faithful beacon.

It is a strength beyond your own
that holds you up in this life's trauma
You stand mighty and tall
for you are a True Steel Magnolia

Dedicated to Lee and Jim
in Loving Memory of
their daughter and infant grandson
Adrian and AJ

Donna...this is beautiful. I would like to share my beliefs with you about a child that dies in infancy. These are spirits that needed no testing on this earth; but they WILL have a life during the millenium when Christ reigns. These special children will begin their life at the age they were when they died and will grow, marry and have children. But they will grow up in a perfect life with perfected bodies. So this child will have a chance at life....but for now, he and his mother are in a wonderful place of peace. Their spirits are not far away...for heaven is all around us.

Unfortunately I know of this sadness.......MANY years ago a friends child had passed when he was only 3 weeks old. The words you share are so touching and sweet, and I hope it gives the people involved a little bit of comfort. Please keep writing and posting Donna

Forrest you have so touched my heart and I pray if the family reads this that they too read what you have written in comment.

Lesa thank you so much for your ever so kind words of love and faith that you have left on this write.

Jim bless your beautiful heart. Death is hard to accept but when it claims
ones so young its so hard.

It took me all these months to be able to write this. It became even more painful after the birth of my great grandson Bryce and .... well not gonna go there, but it just hit soooo close to home and made it even more difficult for me to try to write this.

Once again I as Im sure the family is soooo appreciative of the many many prayers
that went and still go for this family.

Three of my most favorite angels I love U Bunches

Sometimes beautiful is the only word that can describe fully words that are placed by the heart. My own heart cries for this family that now mournes the loss of their daughter and grandson. As you say Donna, it is not ours to question. I cannot fathom such a loss and being able to move forward with my life. I truly believe as you, it is the arms of our Lord that is holding them with his strength and leading them from day to day. Forrest, just below, left such beautiful thoughts. A beautiful write my friend for two angels that now reside in a place far greater than our own. My heart and prayer to their family as they continue on their journey of trying to heal. My loving friendship always to the pen that wrote these comforting and beautiful words. This is a story of life that will follow me forever. KKL
