Lucid Dreaming: To the Seven Seas (Nonsense)

Lucid Dreaming: To the Seven Seas (Nonsense)

A Poem by Stu. T.H.
"

Inspired by a youthful dream

"
Am I here, or am I not ?
Asking a question, while tying a knot,
We art moving out on a venture to the Seven Seas,
Unknowing of the destination, nor wherever it might be.

I caught myself feeling the breeze,
As my goddess, as usual, is much of a tease,
The seas are in favour of those who wander,
Those who do not plunder but seek true treasure.

I felt my hands begin taking notes,
Regardless of the logic of this rocky boat,
The words came out naturally fine,
As if they were but stacking lines.

The ship went North, South, West and East,
The world map is now just a menu of a feast,
I thought there would be no end to this miraculous bliss,
But my fate has dictated another daunting twist.

For all those crewmates who will be amiss,
I thought none could I ever ask to be a better fit,
To reflect the ambitious desires of a young lad,
Who wished to partake in The Legends of Sinbad.
