Sonnet: For the Beauty who has Another

Sonnet: For the Beauty who has Another

A Poem by Stu. T.H.
"

Inspired by {mentally naked}, a poem by author living lavender. (I wanted to write something sweet)

"
Marvelously amazed, and captivated,
With a sole lying gaze, you left me defeated,
For the first time in this crusading life,
I found one deserving to be my wife,

Oh--! But the horrors!
You've already got another,
What is this burning desire!?
To send my own heart to blazing fire?

Oh--! But the grace,
When I saw you, with her, under shade,
The image of two beings, in love,
While the earthly wind sings with flying doves,

The image of you, with her, couldn't be more beautiful,
So I can only pray for your love to be lasting and, plentiful.
