Wandering Desires (1): Hillside Hammock

Wandering Desires (1): Hillside Hammock

A Poem by Stu. T.H.
"

Strangely enough, I want to be annoyed by certain forces. I trust you know that feeling too, at times.

"
Disruptive night, in the mountainous city,
Funny hillside, I hang my hammock freely,
And yearn for the sight of the bustling streets below,
Lanes full of motorcyles, distant chatters, to behold.

Author's Note

Stu. T.H.
A distant feeling reminiscing about one of the times I went to Đà Lạt (Da Lat) in Vietnam. The city, herself, was beautiful, but so, so very flawed... I saw it after the first time, yet even so, I adored her... What a hopeless romantic I am, to think about such Eastern dream while nesting myself in the West.
