Goodbye Nan

Goodbye Nan

A Poem by Harmony-Lee
"

This was read out when spreading my Nan's ashes.

"
We've wished we could stop the world at times,
Pause it, since you've been gone.
But the moon, it continues glowing,
And the sun, it has still shone.
If we could turn back time,
For even just a little.
One more hold of your hand,
Small, shaky and brittle.
To say that we love you,
Then, now and for every tomorrow.
In our hearts and our memories,
Through our laughter and our sorrow.
As hard as it may be today,
Together, we let go.
To what you've achieved and the life you lived,
We sum up with one big "WHACKO."
