Life Goes On

The years go by,

More people die.

Life still goes on,

Old friends are gone.

 

The world can be a cruel place,

Time will always go on without us.

The lakes are the tears of people that cry,

The desert is dry,

Not enough people try.

 

Maybe one day,

We shall all pray,

That our love will not decay.
