Bygone shadows

The street is stretching way afar.

Dark night with light from just one star.

Grim shadows quickly sneaking by

Diverting their eyes to sky.

Is it worth to reach for them?

To try to fix what went mayhem?

Or will it bring more pain and fear?

As to the darkness I'll bring them near.
