Running Shoes

This is another song I wrote!!!!

I don't want to waste another day,
Reaching for a star I can't obtain.
Tell me.  Is it through?
Are you okay?
Is it time again to turn the page?

I don't want to waste another day.
Lying about reaching for a star.
I don't want to waste another day.
I might just end up broken.

I can't afford to break again.
I can afford to do no wrong.
Because my place in this cold world
Will not be held for very long.

I gotta buckle down.
I gotta put my running shoes on.
