An echo in the flames.

Distant voices echo,
Like the embers of forgone lovers,
Drifting into the night sky, Disappearing.
Only to settle and ignite somewhere else.

Do we sit back alone from the flickering flames, in the cool night breeze?
Or do we move closer, and feel the burn once again?

Stare into the dancing fire,
As the echoes edge further away.
