Cliché

Cliché

A Poem by Dressed in Poetry

All the bewitching imagery
Of sandy beaches on sunny days
Or rainy nights with the beloved
Cannot describe the feelings
I keep within my soul.

The clichés of how I
Was hurt by the words
That you screamed at me
With your piercing voice
Cannot hide the fact that
I really do not care anymore.

Still, the only way to make
Beautiful words stand out upon
This piece of college-ruled paper
Is to create an image,
Entombed within clichéd glory.

I really liked the last verse:

Still, the only way to make
Beautiful words stand out upon
This piece of college-ruled paper
Is to create an image,
Entombed within clichd glory.

I was reading this, if you are open to a suggestion, please message me and I will be more thank happy to share it with you!!
