AngerA Poem by Dressed in PoetryNumber 1.
Her anger often exploded,
And he would be left
Trying to appease the beast.
He would have to make
The apologies while she stormed off,
Often leaving behind her a
Trail of destruction.
Finally, he told her his feelings
And watched warily,
Waiting for her to yell.
But she did not…
Instead, she did something
Even more shocking:
She cried.
