Written during 9th grade.

I feel the time passing,
Swift, before I even felt it,
And I'm running and running
Out of time, out of faith,
Out of my mind,
As you slip through my fingers
Before you were even mine,
Not that you ever would be
Or ever will,
Because those things never happen
To me,
For I'm singing in my sleep;
Never was an never will be,
Never was and never will be.

I like it. The first two lines are great:

"I feel the time passing,
Swift, before I even felt it,"

We can't feel time until it's lost.

While the subject is a sad one....I am surprised that I get a sense of it being "okay" that a love slipping by...

I like the flow of this, as well....one minor typo....second to the last line....Never was A never will be...

Other than.....perfect!
