Walking,

Footprints embedded in the mud,

Feeling like a misty rain

Like the one that falls down,

With a sad song on my mind,

Trying to pass some time.

Waiting

For a voice to guide me

Instead of pointing out the obvious

The truth hidden too deep.

And they just don't know,

The inscriptions in my mind.

My life,

I made it out of half-truths

And utter lies,

A shallow layer

Of faithfulness

Covering the mess.

Reviews

I really liked this and the imagery was great. Feeling like an element, that gives so much feeling to the poem. A Great write.
