Half Truths & Utter LiesA Poem by Breezie KaeWritten during 8th grade.
Previous Version This is a previous version of Half Truths & Utter Lies. Walking, Footprints embedded in the mud, Feeling like a misty rain Like the one that falls down, With a sad song on my mind, Trying to pass some time. Waiting For a voice to guide me Instead of pointing out the obvious The truth hidden too deep. And they just don't know, The inscriptions in my mind. My life, I made it out of half-truths And utter lies, A shallow layer Of faithfulness Covering the mess. © 2009 Breezie KaeReviews
