SapphireA Poem by Breezie KaeWritten during the summer between freshman and sophomore year.
Previous Version This is a previous version of Sapphire.
Whenever you come to mind, I know my fate. I see myself there somewhere, Somehow. I sense the aroma of melodies And those eyes, The ones I haven’t seen Since I knew you, and you knew me. Silver, Gold, Sapphire, Falling trees, Falling faces. But I know it will I know it will be, Because it’s too spectacular. Grace has been invisioned, And it’s the only way To feel again and yesterday. Ruby, Platinum, Flowers, sight and flight. Holding on until I’ve broken down again, Feeling faith until I fall For only you, When only love is true, And only truth is lies, When only the grounded fly. But are you here? Will I ever even see you Again? You are the words I said.
