Doomsday FallingA Poem by Breezie KaeWritten during sophomore year.
Previous Version This is a previous version of Doomsday Falling.
It marks down so suddenly And your voice is all I hear Peace falls right in front of me When it all comes down to fear So peace, dissolve, Into a system I have no more Promises to keep So please, come down And declare me, victim And lose it all Like minty shallow stares I’m sick to the stomach, Please numb me With anything conveniently more I’m sick to the stomach, Please numb me With anything conveniently more My mind is swelling The room is falling I know that this will be You know I don’t want Another taste but I know that this will be You speak so suddenly And my guard’s dropped down again Your words soak so tenderly For what I’d give to the end So come, blur Straight into the system And when the end comes You’re the one I breathe for And when I test these waters Will you be there to make amends? All I owe you is a promise And to be your friend So pull me from the surface You don’t know what your grip does My mind is swelling The room is falling I know that this will be You know I don’t want Another taste but I know that this will be I’m sick to the stomach, Please numb me With anything conveniently more I’m sick to the stomach, Please numb me With anything conveniently more I’m sick to the stomach, Please numb me With anything conveniently more I’m sick to the stomach, Please numb me With anything convenient…
