Insignificant

Insignificant

A Poem by Breezie Kae

Eyes of a stranger seem insignificant,
but yet there's a story hidden inside them.
Depart, we say, depart;
a stranger's life is their own.

But we will see pain,
whoever they are, there is pain.
Everyone, if you search, will feel the same;
nobody feels at home.

Your words, I found them today,
and what I read captured me.
What I read was beautiful.

Your words, your secret injuries,
are beautiful.

Gorgeous use of words here. Really touching. I'm amazed by what reading poetry means to me too, without it life would be less than it is. Great work, I'm amazed by the level of maturity you express here. Keep it upxx

A beautiful poem. I like the feel and emotion of this poem. We go bye strangers and rarely will know but a glimpse of a smile or their sadness. A very good ending to a very good poem. Thank you.

Very strong, powerful poem. I like the idea of meta-writing; writing about the process of writing/fears of writing what you're writing/reasons for writing in writing...your poem does that in the last two stanzas and I think it works well.
good job =)
