Silver Lining (Myself)A Poem by Breezie KaeWritten in 8th grade.
Previous Version This is a previous version of Silver Lining (Myself). To look into your eyes And ask what’s the matter Just because nothing matters Doesn’t mean I don’t care. To talk to myself When the world hears nothing Just because they are clueless Doesn’t mean they aren’t there. A tear on a cheek is Nothing compared to the regrets Just because they don’t know Doesn’t mean they’re unaware. Regret is just like A blade smooth across skin Just because no one sees it Doesn’t mean it’s not there. There’s a fine line Between like and love, And I really like you And I’d love If you would take me away From myself. © 2009 Breezie KaeReviews
