Just Like Yesterday

Just Like Yesterday

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

Written in 8th grade.

"

I don’t even know anymore

what I’m doing here.

Lost let knowing

exactly where I stand,

and it doesn’t make sense.

I know if I stop caring

it won’t matter anymore,

but I do care;

care for you.

So I spend another day

saying today I’ll change everything,

just like yesterday,

and the day before.

And I do nothing.

But maybe it’s meant that way.

brilliant!! i love how you end this with just a shrug and acceptance. the title fits this just perfectly, and it's so true how we can all feel despair almost at our faults and we resolve to change, but in the end realise we can't. really well written, kudos for you my friend!

We all feel this way at times. You have said it very well indeed. It is as if we are in limbo even as
our minds are moving on. We seem to stay stuck in the rut that is our lives. I think the flow could be improved by droping a word here or there but overall a very nice piece.
