Excitement building.
Nerves overwhelming.
Sitting alone.
Joined together.
First time in forever.
Meaningless chatter.
Discovering our rhythm.
Remembering the past.
Combining the two.
Making new memories.
Nostalgic of seconds passed.
Closer and closer.
Small gesture sweetness.
Pit stomach heat waves.
Childlike hand touches.
Goodbyes are too soon.
The strain in each eyes.
The prolonged embraces.
Both are confused.
Both have hope creeping.
Both are so cautious.
