Kindled

Kindled

A Poem by Dunamis Pneuma
"

This is actually the first poetic writing I ever did when I was a kid, and I got my inspiration for this from a tree.

"
Kindled

So new and yet so old, sprang from ancient roots not too
different from its own. Kindled in prosperous youth to live
forever. Always to be looked upon never to be accepted, but
never alone. Kindled in prosperous youth forever forgotten.
Never to be known as a person only as a shadow.
Kindled in prosperous youth forever in time. Kindled to soon
die again.

When you write so generally in perfect meter, it's hard to tell what it is that triggered a write about risks. But I like it and it makes me wonder.
