A World's Destiny

A World's Destiny

A Poem by Duncan

heavens rumble,
by play of ancient gods, an' power unbound
earth's scarred face,
tells tale of Natures true force...
darkened skies, wind scorched bark, a world unknown...

fog clouded plains, hiding magic alive,
yet lost
building, molding, creating to a beat unheard...
an' with a feather's blink,
rhyme becomes dispair, destruction, dark...
A world's turmoil ignored,
A wrath still to be felt,
a new fate to behold.

heavens rumble,
Mother cries,
tears fall unbound,
an' life starts anew,
With hope,
promise,
an' fading mists of selfish lust!
