WHERE MY LOVE

WHERE MY LOVE

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh

WHERE MY LOVE

From Flanders fields

To poppy land

Through gardens planted

With love by hand

From the Cliffs of Mohare

Through the Irish sea

The search goes on

For you and me

A simple seed

Was fondly laid

To bud and blossom

In sun and shade

Though wisdom lost

Her fond embrace

The search goes on

For her tear stained face

I love all of the images throughout this piece, but my favorite are the last four lines.

"Though wisdom lost
Her fond embrace
The search goes on
For her tear stained face"

I found these lines in particular to be deeply moving. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful piece of artistry.

I like the travels in the first two stanzas9?). It paints a nice visual image. The comparisons of the search and love to a lost garden is very well done. The last line is a perfect ending.
