Soul House.

Soul House.

A Poem by EelijahGrey
"

; for those who struggle to decipher literature, this monstrosity of my soul is the journal of an adolescent taking flight from house and home.

"

; suddenly someone in torment let loose,

their suffering soul flew high in a violent screak.

 it shook these walls,

 these paper walls.

 the cradle heaved, then,

 the mantle burned down,

 goodbye house,

 and home,

 shaken by macabre howl.

 We sheltered our ears,

 frail,

 fearful,

from aching the echo of doom.

into the night, the ghoul flew high,

we are not all of fortune.
