Happiness

I wish it came easier

 Happiness

Having the courage to smile

Although things may not appear to be

Purely motivated, handling it gracefully

Prepares the soul allowing emotions to flow

Introducing positive energy which is 

Needed for our spiritual growth 

Experiencing all the joys and

Simple pleasures that evade us

Smiling allows us to embrace

That last line just speaks to me. So simple, yet so true. This is a good acrostic!
I almost missed that it was...so I suppose that means it is even better! I hope you are indeed writing out of your morning darkness. I love reading your work and feeling that you are indeed.
