A Poem by Elaina Monroe
"

positive daily mantra x3

"
Yes....
I have done bad things....-
But
that doesn't make me a terrible person
and,
him treating me the way that he has-
is a reflection of
Him
not a reflection of
Me

[Repeat]

[For the healing]
Practice focusing only on whats true!
Focus on whats factual and ignore all negative background noise. If and when the noise happens to be your own voice, remind yourself of what's true and dont be discouraged. Replacing fiction with facts will slowly ease any insecurities and anxieties.

interesting short poem - loved the opening
"Yes...I have done bad things." In some ways would like to know what those things were, but it is good
leaving it to the reader's imagination.
Technically??? as the object in lines 7&8 shouldn't
"Him" be "himself"

I would have used himself (to me "sounds" better reading it), but it is a grammar toss up

This one was a mantra I would recite to myself to get through hard times

I suppose this is what Buddha was talking about the cycle of suffering, and that meditations and mantras were meant to improve oneself, to transcend and become a better person, which in turn will attract good karma, and not terrible peeps how do bad things.
