The Time of Goodbyes

The Time of Goodbyes

A Poem by Eli_Wolf-Queen
"

First poem, don't judge to harshly please.

"

Death, such a funny time,

Mentions of a past, half remembered those with a mind.

Coming in the dead of night,

Leaving nothing to believe in, not even the light.

A deep and searching piece for a first poem with a morbid feel in a short but challenging rhyming write. Be careful about trying to rhyme every poem and try freeverse as well as it allows more leeway. All in all a good first offering.
