Chapter 1: Letting Go of the Fall

Chapter 1: Letting Go of the Fall

A Chapter by Elizabeth Porterfield
"

A simple expression of my desire to be free of my mistakes

"
In my anger,
I fall from Grace.
In my sorrow,
I see your face.
I long to be with you,
No longer alone;
To be free of the chains
My mistakes have grown.
I have acted
As a child
I have let myself
Go wild.
I want to let go
Of the things in my past!
How much longer
Can this misery last?
In my anger
I fell from Grace,
In my sorrow
I miss your face;
Can I be with you,
No longer alone,
And free of these chains
My mistakes have grown?
