Ghosts and Memories can be painful

Today I ate alone

In the confines of a crowded restaurant

Memories of faces now long past

The soulful voice of a female jazz singer in the background

The aroma of fresh fish and seasoned steak filled room

A garbled symphony of chatter and laughter surrounded me

As I sat alone

Across from me where the memories

Yes that is exactly. It is somewhat of a memoir in a poem. Those that once sat across from me faded into time. Like after a flash of light, when there is only that black form left where something else once was.

This was sad, No1 deserves to be alone. Gods words tells us there is one meant:) I been where your at in the poem its no fun. one can kinda loose it in an event like that.
