No One Here

No one knows me.

Nor do I know them.

I wish I knew.

For then I would have friends.

Or at least people who care.

My loneliness shadows me

And no light has shown my way.

I feel so alone

With no one here.

The absence of others is one of those things that can leave us feeling issolated. Surrounded by millions the world can still fall quiet. If no one knows your mind its a desolate world indeed. I also like that you talk about not knowing them either as it seems like a scary idea from both sides of the line. Nice piece .
