A Paused Pulse

A Paused Pulse

A Poem by Leah

Raised By Wolves

Tamed by Doves

Vice or Virtue?

Handled with gloves

The rain calls out

The storm pours out

Centuries or Aeons?

Pillaged with fear

Mainlands are cut

Universes are strewn

To wilt or be withered?

Nothing seems trew

A heart is broken

A fiberglass, glued

Monogamy or Bistro?

The Organ cries in vain.

Belittlement of Bereavement

Manipulation of Savoir-faire

Embodiment or Engraving?

A chanced upon affair!

My fair lady,

Where I ask of you,

Hast thou been?

For all of the years gon' by?

Mine fairest Agreement

O' dost forlorn!

Unravelling Charade

Come past me by once more?
