Taterynge

Taterynge

A Poem by Leah

Come here, little boy

Let me tell of a tale

Of a wondrous fool and his toy

And a sacrilegious dale

Come here, little girl

Cave into my romance

Of a knyght who slew an Ogre

And a woman who serenaded a Legion

Heed my voice, young lad

Forbiddance is a pylgrymage of schools

Classes conducted, ironclad

Where forgery pay their dues

Of this woman whom serenades, O’ Lass

She masks her ghastly map

And is pleasant in her silvery lace

Labia unsealed, another on her tab

Good Sir! Good Sir!

Behold these knickknacks here?

O’ scoff naught, Lord Chaff!

For these thou shalt wince,

O’er every blackletter ordained

Ah! The benign Lady Blue!

With reches and relikes

Thou hast rapeled

Deforming into Lymbus

Hast none knowun myne tayll’s gist?
