We

We

A Poem by Emily

The Only Thing I Will

          Leave Behind

         Are My Words

      I Have Left Them

Strangled

Loved

           Caressed

Hated

Thrown Them

          To You

         And You

                   And You - Symbols

                           Across White Pages

Read Them

        And Imagine

Each Letter Is Alone

  A Part Of Me                        Lonely

Trying To Connect        To

          The Next

                 And The Next

                          Next

                             Week

                             After

                             Week

This Is          The Sound

         The Sight     Of A

                        A Confession

        But Really           I Am Not

                          A

                       God

                     Damn

                     Word

                                     Left behind

The *only* thing I didn't like about this was is the formatting. The word choices, flow, and affect are all wonderful. :)
