What is life?

What is life?

Is it a cruel trap that brings you pain, and agony?

Or is it a soft fluffy blanket that brings you joy, warmth, and even comfort?

Could it be a knife,

that pierces the heart, and scrambles the brain?

Or a candy,

sweet and savory?

Are we animals, with thumbs,

and vocal chords?

Or are we messengers, 

sent to fulfill all of the lord's wishes?

Does it pain you to smile?

Or are you happy to do such.

Maybe it's best not to ask what cannot be answered.
