I see it, I feel it
A Poem by Duckey
In memory of my dearest Elisa, who will always be in my heart
In memory of my dearest Elisa, who will always be in my heart
I see it I feel it It's coming
I see it I feel it It's here
It takes me in its arms As though an embrace And then snaps my neck
And i fall to the ground It reaches to catch me But only so i land quietly
It lays me to rest On a bed of red roses That use to be white
It tells them it was my fault That i did this to myself And they believe it
But i know who you are And i am coming for you I am coming for you
Before you take another Little girl Who's scared to be herself

Am guessing, this mystery force is, being raped, by a love one. Symbolized, by the changing of the roses, from white to red. Sadly, this isn't limited to just young girls, but happens to boys, as well. I do hope, you're writing is fictional, and not reality, to you or a close friend, Emily. For no child shall have endure such experience, at any age.

I have never been through this myself but this poem is written in her memory. Boys often fall victim as well yes, i understand that, it is just how i chose to finish it, as my friend was a girl.
