A Poem by Duckey

I see you
But you do not see me
I see your long sleeves in the summer
And the way you seem alone
Even when you're surrounded by people
I see the sadness in your eyes
And the lies in your smiles
that come so naturally to your lips now
Dishonest, and pained
I see the drawings
That you do late at night
When tears run down your cheeks
And your hands are shaking
The angry red lines
That run across your arms
And the drops that fall to the floor
As your tears run down your face
And you do not force a smile anymore
There is no one there to see
I wish i could help you
Tell you i love you
Wrap you in my arms until yours stop shaking
And your arms stop bleeding
Hold your hands until they melt into mine
And your eyes begin to dry
Never think i do not care
Because i will not loose another sad friend
Who let their scars define them
