FrankA Poem by Emily L
Frank
I admirably gazed at Frank the Schnauzer as he galloped throughout the snow filled yard, sniffing every nook and cranny of the crystallized powder that magically reappeared each January year after year. If Frank could applaud and praise at this sight I think he would, frankly I never thought I could. The front yard became too ordinary for old Frank. "Quickly now! Go after him!" yelled my mother. I sprang on my coat and red mittens...boots and hat and ran out with a furious dash. Old Frank appeared in the snow filled distance; prancing up the windy forest filled roads. I hooted and hollered at that dog probably thinking, "take your time do not bother." Further and further he danced through the hills, saying hello to the deer that quickly struck my instant appeal. As I watched it's beauty and grace the earth stood silent for once in my selfless like. I opened my once blinded eyes to a sight so gay. Should I get down on my knees and pray? Pray the changes of the season fill me with a purpose and reason. Once my mind was filled with useless space but now it seems, frankly I have found my place. © 2018 Emily LReviews
