How does it feel

Being stuck in a dream

Seems so real

A nightmare that makes you scream

Only leaves scares that won't heal

Those memories lead to depression

Scared to fall asleep at night

Knowing those dreams don't go away with medication

Stay up and try to fight

Leading up to confession

Hiding those falling tears

Wishing it would go away

Dreams are what you fear

Could try to go on with the days

Could stay for years

But won't go away

You did well portraying the narrator's emotions.

Constructively: line 5 I think you mean scars instead of scares

I notice you rhyme line 2 dream with line 4 scream and line 6 depression with line 8 medication. Have you considered trying to stick with that rhyme scheme? Just want to encourage you to stretch.
